COVID-19 Precautions

  • Give everyone space. Seating in meeting rooms and at banquet tables will be spaced to create physical distance. We will set seating based on prevailing guidelines for group gatherings. Session and total attendance will be capped based on the physically distanced floorplans and capacities.
  • Wear masks. We will continue to follow CDC and Clark County, Nevada, guidelines. Effective July 30, 2021, Nevada Governor, Steve Sisolak, mandated that everyone, including those who are fully vaccinated, wear a face mask while in public indoor settings, including resorts and casinos, restaurants, bars, showrooms, and meeting spaces. This directive aligns with the latest CDC guidance. Anyone who ignores the policy will be asked to leave the conference.
  • Contact tracing. COVID Trace is a free, easy-to-use mobile app developed by the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services that notifies you if you’ve likely been exposed to COVID-19. Download it at nvhealthresponse.nv.gov/covidtrace/.
  • COVID-19 testing. To mitigate the spread of COVID-19, if you are experiencing symptoms such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath, please do not attend the SELL Conference in person. If you’re at the SELL Conference and are not displaying symptoms of COVID-19 but would still like to get tested, please visit nvhealthresponse.nv.gov/find-covid-19-testing-in-nevada/. We’ve also identified that the closest COVID-19 testing locations in Las Vegas, Nevada, are at Walgreens (3821 West Flamingo Road) and CVS (4490 Paradise Road).
  • Enhanced cleaning and sanitization. We are working with the venue to ensure frequent cleaning of high-touch areas throughout the event space. In addition, spaces are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized overnight.
  • Contactless experience and hand sanitizer. We are working to minimize contact points wherever possible. Where we cannot create a contactless experience, we will have hand sanitizer available and will frequently clean and disinfect the area. Hand sanitizer or hand-washing stations will be placed through the event space, including outside the meeting rooms.
  • Food service. When food service is provided, coffee stations and buffet meals will have hand sanitizer available, and break items will be packaged or individually wrapped.

As a participant in our event, we ask that you:

  • Before engaging, ensure others are comfortable with handshakes and other contact greetings.
  • Follow all event signage and instructions from the ATD team.
  • Respect your fellow participants’ comfort and privacy.
  • Stay at home (or in your hotel room) if you are sick with a cough, fever, or have been exposed to COVID-19.

Most of all, we want you to engage fully in the event! Even in unique times, learning never stops. Whether we’re connecting with each other online or in person, development is the heart of our work.

Participants in all ATD courses, events, and meetings are required follow our Code of Conduct.
